Repository-only safety record drafting

Employer Safety & Injury Records Pack

It drafts annual-summary certification records, injury or illness log entries, and electronic-submission records from user-supplied facts, with each field traced to a pinned 29 CFR Part 1904 receipt. Applicability and employer judgment remain human decisions.

In the download

Commit the folder. Select the agent. Draft.

  • A repository-only custom agent for GitHub Copilot Chat.
  • Three reusable prompts: annual-summary certification, injury or illness log entry, and electronic-submission record.
  • Pinned receipts for 29 CFR 1904.1, 1904.2, 1904.7, 1904.29, 1904.32, and 1904.41.
  • Named abstentions for recordability, small-employer and industry exemptions, state plans, and privacy-concern cases.
  • A signed release manifest, software bill of materials, install receipt, and pack-specific verifier.

What it does for you

The job, the record, the moment it is asked for.

  1. You give it the facts. It drafts the 300-A annual-summary certification record, the 300 log entry, or the electronic-submission record. Each field traces to a pinned Part 1904 receipt.

  2. What you get back is a cited draft the employer certifies. It records that a submission was made. It never performs one.

  3. When OSHA asks for the log and the certified summary, the draft names its authority for each field. Some calls are yours to make. Is this case recordable? Does an exemption apply? Is this a privacy-concern case? Each one is raised for your review, not filled in quietly.

Before you buy

Which Copilot?

This pack installs into GitHub Copilot. You will need Visual Studio Code with the Copilot Chat extension and a Copilot licence from GitHub.

Does your team work in Microsoft 365 or Dynamics 365 Copilot? That is a different product, and this pack does not install there today. It is who we built these for. Tell us about your rollout and we will talk it through.

Named abstentions

The judgment stays with the employer.

  • The employer decides recordability. The pack drafts an entry only after the user states that the case is recordable.
  • The agent asks for establishment size and NAICS classification and leaves the draft unresolved when the small-employer or listed-industry exemption may apply.
  • Cal/OSHA, state plans, and California SB 553 workplace-violence prevention requirements are named but outside this federal pack.
  • Privacy-concern cases are flagged for employer review; the pack does not decide how 29 CFR 1904.29(b)(6)–(9) applies.
  • It records that an electronic submission was made. It never performs the submission or any other external write.

Where Edukas adds value

What you cannot write yourself in an afternoon.

  • A machine pulled in the rule text and pinned it to a stated date. Nobody retyped it, so nobody can have mistyped it.
  • The cases the rule does not decide are written down by name, and tested. They are not left to the model. This pack has the longest list of them in the line. Recordability is the exact place a general-purpose helper guesses.
  • The agent is told never to invent a field, and never to act outside the chat. That sits in the files you own. It is not a chat instruction someone can lose.
  • The download ships with a signed list of every file and a checker, plus 12 months of updates.
  • It asks for establishment size and industry class before it drafts. An exemption that may apply is raised, not assumed away.

Built with the Heartwood method: sources pinned to a date, the unanswered cases named, releases signed. Heartwood itself is our separate product, and it is not in this box.

I already know what I need

A few short questions, one tap each. If this pack is the answer you will land back here; if it is not, we will say so.

What kind of work does your organization do?

4 more questions and we will tighten this.

Roughly how many people work there?
Which of these costs your team the most time?
When would you want this in place?
How many people work for your company, and is your industry partially exempt?

Two federal tests decide this and you are the one who can answer them: company size under 29 CFR 1904.1, and whether your establishment sits in one of the partially exempt industry groups listed in appendix A to 29 CFR part 1904 subpart B. The pack names both as cases it does not decide, and neither do we.
